| The history of
CANYON CREEK CHURCH
is being written, even as you visit this website.
Our buildings located at 27960 SW Canyon Creek Road in
Wilsonville, Oregon, formerly belonged to a church that closed in April of 2000.

| We have begun a new church for two reasons.
First, we believe it is God’s will for us to re-establish a Bible based,
people oriented ministry at our location. Second, the
anticipated growth of the Wilsonville community makes it important to
have an additional setting where people can belong to a caring family
of believers.

| We're still in the early stages of our life as a church family.
On May 5, 2002, following a year of meeting on Sunday evenings, we moved
our service to 10:00 AM on Sunday mornings.
Pastor Dave Douglass worked hard to establish this church. His
dedication to God's Word and to the people of Wilsonville has set the tone
for the people of this congregation to work together, and support one another
in life and ministry.

| In February of 2007 Canyon Creek Church called Pastor Travis Tadema to take over
the ministry of Pastor Dave Douglass. They worked together for two months
in order to ensure a solid transition and on March 25, 2007 Pastor Travis was installed
as the pastor of Canyon Creek Church. Pastor Dave Douglass has moved on to
continue in part-time ministry in Brownsville, Oregon.
