One Word

October 28 2018
October 28 2018

We are beginning a new series of five messages. The series is entitled, "One Word". We will look at five words, one at a time. These are Greek or Hebrew Biblical words that are beautiful and significant; words like Shalom, Maranatha, and Koinonia. First in the series is the word "Selah". It is found 71 times in the Psalms and has a beautiful basic meaning: It means Pause and weighs the truth of what you have just heard. Sunday we will look at Psalm 46 (it mentions "Selah" three times) and together we will Pause and Be Still and Know that He is God.
