Pursuing Happiness

September 20 2017

Blaise Pascal stated: "All men seek happiness. This is without exception. Whatever different means they employ, they all tend to this end." I think this is true; we humans may pursue happiness in different ways, but we all seek it.  And we inform each other in both bold and more subtle ways what we believe will make humans happy. We sometimes believe myths and never find happiness: That ongoing perception that our life as a whole is fulfilling, meaningful and pleasant. In this series we will look at some of the ideas flowing from leading schools of business, psychology and political science and compare these ideas about finding lasting happiness with the teachings of the founder of our faith, Jesus Christ.
